Make a Mess Records presents Walk into the World, BRILLIANT COLORS’ second 7-inch for the label, following their four-song 2008 debut. With a handful of singles and an LP on the classic Oakland imprint Slumberland, this San Francisco trio has in the past three years projected a glittering stream of noisy pop gems over the Bay Area and beyond, carving a charmed path through indie melody and bratty punk primitivism. "Walk into the World" shimmers into life with a '60s girl-group swing and timeless pop drama, refracted through a hazy DIY lens, initially curious and ultimately triumphant. "Bad Vibes" turns your world upside-down with a downer dose of delightful disorientation.
